Welcome!
I’m gillian hailey. I’m so glad you’re here :)
Let me tell you a bit about myself, what informs and inspires my work, and how we can work together to support and empower you on your own journey of living into your blossoming vitality and potential - in this season of life and beyond.
My body of work as a somatic practitioner, coach, and educator is rooted in my personal and professional exploration of what it means to live well, and what gets in the way of our ability to flourish and thrive, in each season of life.
Like all biological creatures, we are incredibly delicate and profoundly resilient. Life is wild, weird, wonderful, painful, magical, confusing, chaotic, unexpected, and ever changing, often from one moment to the next.
We are no different than bear and bee and flower - life, by nature, is full of stress, struggles, challenges, chaos, trials, tribulations, threats, and traumas. The beauty is that there is, within each of us, a built in biological instinct, intelligence, and inclination toward healing, wholeness, authentic expression and connection, fulfillment, vitality, and wellbeing.
Somatics is a greek word which translates to the science of the living body in it’s wholeness.
Embodiment is our felt sense of ourselves and our aliveness through the experience and expression of our body.
The symptoms, struggles, suffering, challenges, and fears we all experience hold important information, insights, and invitations into how we can work with the generative intelligence and interconnected nature of our biology, ecology, physiology, and psychology to ultimately heal, grow, adapt, flourish and thrive.thrive.
As a trauma- trained integrative somatic practitioner, educator, and coach I offer an empathetic and empowering approach to demystifying and destigmatizing the challenges and struggles and symptoms of your stresses and suffering so you can tend to and transform stress and trauma and live, love, and lead more deeply fully and freely into your blossoming potential - as people, parents, partners, peers, professionals.
“The body has been designed to renew itself through continuous self-correction. These same principles also apply to the healing of psyche, spirit, and soul.”
― Peter A. Levine
