  • Restorative

    Wednesday 6:45-7:45pm
    YMCA Asheville Downtown

    A gentle, calming, therapeutic practice that soothes the nervous system and releases tension across mind, body, breathe, and being. We invite in plentiful props such as blankets, blocks, bolsters, and straps to support subtle stretching and softening into longer held postures for deep relaxation and restoration. Restorative Yoga is perfect for beginners and a great complement for more rigorous practices and/or experienced practitioners. As a practice it support the symptoms of chronic stress, tension, and fatigue, recovery from illness and injury, and aids in navigating anxiety change by cultivating a sense of sanctuary within.

  • Slow Flow

    Thursday 6:45-7:45pm
    YMCA Asheville Downtown

    A slower flow (vinyasa) yoga that allows space for embodied exploration and connection through slow mindful movement. As you move through flowing sequences at a slower pace the focus turns to cultivating awareness of your inner experience and attuning to the language and experience of your body as you learn to gently yet deeply unravel and unwind muscular stress and tension.

  • Vinyasa Flow

    Wednesday 5:15-6:15pm
    Saturday 11am-12pm
    YMCA Woodfin

    Unfurl into your day with flexibility, fluidity, and fortitude.  Vinyasa Flow weaves form, function, and flow of body and breath to unravel muscular stress and tension and build supple strength from the inside out. Sequencing will include both standing and floor postures. Modifications will be offered and you'll be encouraged to move in a way that honors your body. Some knowledge of and experience with foundational yoga postures is helpful but not required.

  • I bring over a decade of experience designing, curating, and teaching yoga, fitness, and wellness focused classes, workshops, events, and retreats both locally and internationally.

    I weave my background in somatics, embodiment, and trauma informed yoga to harness the therapeutic benefits of movement through a variety of styles including Gentle Yoga, Vinyasa Flow, Slow Flow and Restore, Restorative, Embodied Flow, Restorative, Yin, and Yoga Nidra.

    Classes can also be curated weaving complimentary modalities including Nature Based Ritual, Reiki, Sound Healing, Embodied Movement, and Authentic Relating.
